Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in love with acting in Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in the theatre in the Chicago area for several years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as films. Anna's first major character was Arden, in Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. The early 90s were when she appeared as a regular actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. She starred as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn has also appeared on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer-directed production of Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. The love story that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is usually the main focus of the plot in Breaking Bad with the strained tension in their relationship, and the eventual end of their relationship similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
